Our Success

Alan Farber has over 30 years experience as a litigator. He has appeared at all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada. His areas of expertise are Mediation, Estate Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury and Employment Litigation. In the last 6 years alone, he has succeeded in securing awards for his clients in excess of $3,000,000. Alan has taken cases both to trial and mediation in the areas of Wills and Estates and Trusts and has met with great success. Alan recently concluded a Wills Variation case for his client for an amount in excess of $1,000,000 by way of a mediated settlement.

In his Personal Injury practice, Alan has won and settled cases for amounts totalling over $5,000,000. In 1997 he was successful in obtaining for his client the highest damage award ever awarded in Canada for the loss of a child. Alan is an excellent negotiator, and prides himself on often being able to achieve outstanding results for clients without going to court, but always being willing to take cases to trial where necessary to achieve those results.

Felicia Folk has many years of experience assisting clients in wills and estate planning, in estate and trust administration, and in successfully resolving estate disputes. She is also available to act as an arbitrator and mediator in disputes in other areas of law. She has over 30 years of experience as a lawyer. While she was the Practice Advisor at the Law Society of British Columbia, she assisted many lawyers throughout the province to resolve their own disputes with partners, employees, and clients.
